St. Andrew's gives 10% of its annual income away to support mission work in UK and overseas.
Those we are currently supporting financially and through prayer are:
St Andrew's, as well as members of the wider congregation, support a number of children in a community within Ghana. Compassion is an international charity that works with churches and individuals through child sponsorship and letter writing. This means that the children benefit directly from financial support via trusted local church contatcs which are supported and maintained through Compassion.
CHARIS are a local charity who support bereaved families and young people and care for the homeless community through Cold Weather Nightshelter provision. We partner with CHARIS with our Nightshelter Project here at St Andrew's and we aim to support them financially as they provide this and other services within the Islington Borough.
St Mark's Meals is based in Milton Keynes and believe that no child in Milton Keynes should go to bed hungry. They provide meal boxes through schools, family and community centres and are partnering with over 40 centres in Milton Keynes. They beleive no child should go to bed hungry. St Marks have helped us set up St Andrew's Meals here in Archway and we want to support the work they do locally in MK.
